Quote from movie "Superman Returns." Superman to Lois Lane on rooftop scene, "You wrote, 'The world does not need a Saviour, but everyday I hear people crying for one.'"

Welcome to the personal poetry site of John J. Rigo of McKinney, Texas. Mr. Rigo was recently selected as one of two hundred poets of note in the "Who's Who of International Poets."

The author of this site is proud to announce the publishing of his charity-driven poetry books, "Roses Amidst Thorns," and "Rainbows Amidst Storms," a twenty year journey in poetry writing that is now available for purchase. All net profits from these books will be spent on various Christian based charity-centered projects and programs in Collin, Henderson, Kaufman and Van Zandt countries in Texas. The cost of these poetry books is twelve dollars and fifty cents each. An order can be placed on the link to the left to place a direct order.

We are also announcing the forming of a new publishing company called Rigo Publishing Company, a self-publishing book service for unpublished poets. click link to left for further info on Rigo Publishing Company, "low cost publishing for non-published poets on a mutually shared profit agreement." A program in which you retain all rights to your work.

Also check out our newly created poetry website which renders non-profits the opportunity to have a "poetry word presentation fund raiser" made at no-fee to the organization or church making such a request. A link for this site can be found at "no-fee for non-profit fund raisers" to the left. The author only requests that a portion of the donations, collections or ticket fee for attendance at this scheduled performance be given to assist the homeless in the county the poetry word presentation is made.

We are involved in international and community service. Our site doesn't include pop-up or banner ads.

Should you wish to provide a donation, we will accept donations on the behalf of various charities throughout Collin county and the Tri-county area in East Texas that provide assistance and hope for the homeless in these areas.
